The Extraordinary of EVERYTHING

The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.

Extraordinary‘- it is one of my favourite words, not because of its length, but because of the nice ring of it. Yeah, the ‘nice ring of it’.

Being different is something not everybody can achieve. It is a rather tough task, if you ask me. It is difficult to be yourself around everybody because not many can understand that Earth, where they live, is also different. It is extraordinary. That bird sitting on the branch of the tree outside the window; it is extraordinary. You just have to see it, not from your eyes, but from the depth of your mind. Like Luna Lovegood.

It is often said, “don’t judge a book by its cover“. I don’t think many of us look at it from another perspective, besides not judging a person from appearance. If you do, then that’s highly appreciable my friend. Have you ever looked at rain drops, and thought of them as confetti falling from the sky? Have you ever looked at the horizon, and though ‘what if the sky and the water actually met’? Have you ever thought about the fact that you are constantly on the move, even when you are sitting because of the motion of the earth? Have you ever thought of how your brain works? As in, can there be really gears turning when you are thinking? Try it. You might find an EXTRAORDINARY answer. There. That word again.

Being extraordinary, different, original is something I consider to be a treasure, because as I said, not everybody can afford it. All are busy, trying to fit in, going with the crowd. But, ever thought that if you follow the crowd, you might get lost in it? If he wasn’t extraordinary, Percy couldn’t have defeated Kronos. If Hermione wasn’t extraordinary, Harry and Ron would’ve lasted for just 5 days in Hogwarts, maybe less. If Katniss wasn’t extraordinary, she wouldn’t have had the courage to go into the Arena. Folks, all of us have something within us, just like every other thing, which makes us stand out from a horrifying place where everyone gets lost- the crowd.

Now have a look at that tree outside your house, is it still the same old giant tree? Or is it pretty green things attached to an immensely tall hard, brown thing called wood, neither of which can be artificially made? And yeah people, you are just as sane as I am.
